The Inevitable Netflix and Chill
Oh, 'Netflix and Chill'. Whether you're fresh on the dating scene or 5 years into a relationship, you know it, and you've done it. And with winter well underway, this is the perfect time to talk about what to wear when he asks you to Netflix and Chill.
When you and your partner have been together for a while, and are comfortable, Netflix and Chill means 'sweatpants, hair tied, chilling with no make-up on,' well to quote Drake. But when you enter a fresh relationship there's still the desire to wear a cute ensemble. So, I've teamed up with Dixie Outlet Mall to style a cute and sassy outfit for Netflix and Chill.
I'm always surprised by the #DixieDeals I find while shopping at Dixie Outlet Mall, more often than not, I find items that are 70% off or more! With an outfit for Netflix and Chill in mind, I knew that I wanted to find an outfit that was comfortable and relaxed but still contained a hint of sex appeal. I ended up scoring a killer deal on a pair of jeans from Levi's Outlet with a ripped knee and frayed hem. This find instantly inspired me to play off the theme of pyjamas, for when you are finally comfortable together.
So, I set off in search of something pyjama inspired. I always have a lot of luck in Urban Planet –they get my style. And ultimately, I found a White Silk Shirt and Black Camisole, that perfectly play off my sweet but sexy vibe. Again, this duo was an inexpensive find and left me a decently sized budget to find shoes and accessories with.
Given the time of year, I figured a chic boot was the best option. I found this gorgeous pair of patent leather booties from Nine West with silver hardware and knew I had to have them. If there's one thing I have to have in a boot it's a pointed toe, and there's no doubt that this pair has them!
To finish off the look I found an edgy black netted choker and skinny black belt at Forever 21, which totally suits my style. As well as, a heart-shaped ring with the number one embossed within the center to remind him who's boss. But with that said, I will accept any and all flattery in the form of junk food and chocolate...
