Everything Is Gucci

In fashion, what's hot and what's not changes on a daily basis. A statement that's true of both the trends themselves and the distinguished brands who dictate them. And while I fondly (read: horrifically) remember the days in which it was a sin not to own a Louis Vuitton handbag, as of late, everything is Gucci. 

While I've always appreciated and admired the finer things in life, I don't (completely) consider myself materialistic. So when I came to acquire this Gucci Hat in a trade with my younger brother a few years ago, I didn't really know what to do with it. I'd wear it from time to time, but more often than not it was in a humorous regard as opposed to a style choic. Now, years later, with the prevalence of Gucci in the underground style scene, I no longer feel frivolous or 'extra' wearing it.  

This past weekend I paired my Gucci Hat with a monochromatic red look to send the Summer off with a bang! And while the weather was as inconsistent as my mood, I made the most of it in a provocative Red One-Piece from Zara and Red Boyfriend Hoodie from Missguided.
