Ghosting; Verb
Nowadays when you hear the term 'Ghosting' used as a verb, it's when a potential love interest disappears out of nowhere. But lately, thanks to Verb Haircare, I've been thinking about it in an entirely new way! Verb recently expanded their original Ghost Collection to include a Shampoo, Conditioner, Dry Oil, and more. Having been obsessed with the brand since I first discovered their Ghost Oil at Sephora, I was eager to get my hands on the new collection. So when they reached out and asked if I wanted to be one of the first to test it out, I instantly said yes!
After using the products for the past month, I can confidently say they totally live up to expectations. And, I'm addicted to the light Grapefruit Oatmeal fragrance that each one contain. It's relaxing and invigorating at the same time–just like me.
Verb / Ghost Collection Review
Having coloured hair, I am always weary of trying a new Shampoo & Conditioner, but the Ghost Shampoo and Conditioner have yet to affect my colour! The Ghost Shampoo Both products feature Moringa Oil, which helps to naturally smooth ends and, I've already noticed it leaves my hair with a glorious sheen. The Ghost Conditioner is ultra thick, but doesn't weigh hair down.
I've been using them for the past few weeks and my hair looks and feels healthier already! Plus, it smells great!
As I previously mentioned, the Ghost Oil was the first product I tried from Verb, and it totally blew my mind. Not only am I obsessed with the packaging, the oil literally vanishes into my hair, leaving it with a smooth, sleek finish. Now, Verb has introduce the Ghost Dry Oil which helps to extend a blowouts, condition ends, add shine and prevent damage from washing and styling.
I like the use the Ghost Dry Oil right after I hop out of the shower, before blow-drying my hair. Immediately after applying it, I notice that my hair is much more manageable. Once I'm finished styling, I add a pump of the Ghost Oil to provide a gorgeous shine and tame any fly-aways or frizz.
Finally, there's the Ghost Prep and Ghost Hairspray. New to the collection, the Ghost Prep is a pre-style essential. I always use it before I blow-dry and style my hair to ensure my hair is protected from heat up to 425 degrees. Once dry, I notice that my hair feels incredibly soft and looks a lot less 'puffy' for lack of a better term. To be honest, I could even get away without styling it, but since I'm vain, I always grab a straightener or curling wand.
