NAILS . ABSTRACT WHITE + NUDE
Call it what you want – abstract, minimal, cow-esque (lol) – this white and nude manicure is pretty killer. The design occurred as a by-product of a soon-to-be-camo manicure, which was set to feature steel grey, black, and eggplant, alongside the white. However, after applying the white polish to the nude base the effect was so abstract, minimal and angelic that I couldn't dare apply anything else. And the beautiful thing about this design is that it's so easy to recreate!
Begin by painting two thin coats of a pale nude/pink polish on all nails; here I've used Essence The Gel Polish in Sweet As Candy. Once this base has dried, create random shapes around the nail using a white polish; again, I've used Essence The Gel Polish in Wild White Ways. The trick to mastering this design is to wipe the brush from side to side until there is a minimal amount of polish on the tip. Finally, seal in the design with a fast-drying topcoat such as the Seche Vite Fast-Drying Top Coat.
