TRAILS + THREADS
One thing you need to know about me is that when I get an idea in my head, I'll be damned if I don't follow through on it. Last weekend acts as the perfect example of this, as I dragged my best friend for a hike around Tew's Falls in the middle of an unwelcome Spring snow storm. Partially prepared, I had the sense to grab my winter jacket from storage, as well as my Timberlands - white was clearly the wrong choice - but I completely blanked on gloves, leaving my hands to freeze. Beneath my down-filled jacked I wore a black crewneck sweater, long striped t-shirt, and ripped denim; all staples for a day off. The blistering cold had a definite impact on the duration of our hike, but regardless it was nice to get outside and take in all that nature has to offer - cold front or not.
