When it comes to a daily makeup routine there is bound to be a bit of rotation based on the outfit and/or your current feels, however as of late I've found myself heavily relying on these products to keep my imperfections hidden, lashes long, and complexion radiant. It's a routine I've settled into for the time being, as it hits all of my major must haves: can be completed within 10 minutes, has an ease of application, and of course, lasts throughout the day. 

To begin, I apply the Shiseido Synchro Skin($58) for a quick ‘n’ easy base – this stuff has an insanely thin consistency, similar to that of water, but is still somehow able to cover any imperfections I might have. It feels absolutely weightless on the skin and the matte-yet-dewy finish provides a natural glow. Being that I don't have oily skin I've found that I can actually skip primer when using this foundation as it has serious lasting power on it's own. Next up, I apply three dots of the Too Faced Born This Way Concealer($32) to my under-eye area, using the pad of my ring finger to gently pat it in. With the summer days being long and the nights short I’ve started to notice my dark circles a lot so this step has been essential to ensure I look human. The Too Faced Born This Way Concealer is one of the newest concealers on the market, but already has a cult following. It covers all without looking heavy and is extremely hydrating thanks to the inclusion of coconut water in it's formula.

To keep my skin looking light and dewy I've been skipping the finishing powder and extreme contour, opting for a subtle overall bronze using the Rodial Instaglam Compact Deluxe Contouring Powder($75) instead. I apply this powder in the typical B/3 motion to provide a bit of depth to my features using the complimentary Rodial Powder Brush($64). I then finish my complexion by patting on a mixture of the NARS Liberté($38) blusher and MAC Mineralize SkinFinish in Soft n' Gentle($37) to the apples of my cheeks. This combination creates the perfect glow and pairs beautifully with tanned or pale skin. 

When it comes to eyes, I first define my brows using the Anastasia Beverly Hills DipBrow($23). I've heard that the secret to great brows is in the tools, which is why I always use the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brush #14($23) to create the exact shape I desire. The brush also has a handy brow brush on one end allowing me to brush through any clumps of product that might form. I’ve always struggled with my brows but I’ve been a lot happier with them since I bought this gel/brush duo + started watching Anastasia Beverly Hills Instagram videos; you honestly can’t go wrong. 

Given that my eyes are so small I've gotten into the habit of lining the upper lash line to further define them using the Make Up For Ever Aqua XL Eyeliner in M-10 Black($25). I'd normally skip the eyeliner given my affinity to crying/tearing up, but the formula of the Aqua XL liners even lasts through tears – see my full review here.  A quick sweep of Make Up For Ever's new Excessive Lash($31) mascara and the eyes are complete! I love this formula as provides a ton of volume while separating the lashes so you're left with eyes that appear more awake, so necessary for daytime. 

Lastly, a quick sweep of MAC's Frost Lipstick in High Strung($21), a stunning metallic nude, and my daily makeup is complete. I love how this lipstick provides a fun and edgy alternative to the classic nude lip without being inappropriate for work – tocuhé MAC. 

And there you have it, my everyday face... well, for the meantime anyway.
