The first long weekend of the summer season is quickly approaching and I couldn't be more thrilled. Although I'm only two weeks into my school semester, the coinciding onset of a new position at work and a move to Toronto have seriously tired me out. Needless to say, I'm already in desperate need of a break. 

So this Victoria Day long weekend, I'm off to visit my parent's new summer home, located in Cornwall, ON, to take it easy and spend some quality time by the lake. READ: visit my childhood friends, look fresh thanks to some amazing finds from Dixie Outlet Mall, and avoid pants at all costs.

Lately, my style has been heavily influenced by streetwear, likely because the clothing is relaxed and less restricting. And that influence isn't fleeting simply because the long weekend is here. Honestly, I plan on spending the entire long weekend in this Thrasher Mag Flames T-shirt I recently grabbed from the West 49 Outlet in Dixie Outlet Mall. I tend to buy these unisex t-shirts in my own size, but this time around I opted for an XL so that it would mimic a dress, allowing me to go pantless. Luckily, my family is already used to me prancing around the house in nothing but a Thrasher Tee, so they'll likely be impressed that I added a denim jacket to the mix.

I grabbed this distressed denim jacket from the Winners at Dixie Outlet Mall and was totally shocked when I realized that although I have 5 denim jackets in my possession, not a single one of them is black! I can't wait to throw this Abercrombie version over my tee when the sun goes down and the breeze cools off. It's bound to become a staple in my wardrobe, especially at our summer home.   

Also coming with me to the summer house this long weekend?
