At one point or another in life, we've all done some type of spring cleaning. My personal favourite? Cleaning out my closet. It's a chance to free my wardrobe of tired pieces that, either due to wear and tear or changing styles, are simply taking up space. But I will admit, that doing so also makes room for new pieces and therefore typically encourages a shopping trip in search of a few new pieces that will carry me through the upcoming season.

As an ambassador of Dixie Outlet Mall, I was eager to head to the mall to see how many Spring must-haves I could tick off my wishlist. Thanks to the incredible deals I found during my shopping I was able to assemble an entire outfit that brought me one step closer to my picture-perfect Spring wardrobe. 

The Winners located in Dixie Outlet Mall is one of the best in the GTA in my personal opinion and is riddled with great finds at incredible prices. For Spring, I've been eyeing all things mesh and when I stumbled upon this mesh t-shirt, I felt like I struck gold. Although it's a long-sleeve, I know it will become a staple in my Spring/Summer wardrobe, especially when paired with distressed denim shorts.

I also found this pair of leather Steve Madden loafers, as well as a trendy pair of earrings from the Winners that I simply couldn't pass up. With a snake charm design, these earrings are the most audacious in my collection, but I know they will be worn time and time again this Spring. And you can't deny that the loafers feature a Gucci vibe thanks to their metal horse bit detail, making them that much more alluring – especially considering the price point vs. the real deal.

Alongside mesh, I've had a serious obsession with denim as of late and knew I needed to find a cute denim dress to twirl around in for Spring. This off-the-should option from the Bluenotes in Dixie Outlet Mall is a great option and injects some girliness into my Spring wardrobe. I love the flouncy neckline, simply straps, and the fact that it can be worn with or without the mesh t-shirt from Winners underneath, transitioning the piece from girly to streetwear. 

Finally, I've been trying to work a bit of colour back into my wardrobe so I stumbled into Aldo Outlet to see if I could find a pair of sunglasses that would fit the bill. If you had told me a year ago that I would be wearing red sunglasses I would probably have laughed in your face. But something about the tone and metallic nature of this pair works to neutralize the colour, giving them a subdued look. Needless to say, I'm a big fan.
