Set 2 Go

The Dermablend Loose Setting Powder has been a mainstay in my makeup collection ever since I discovered the brand at their Canadian launch last October. At the event, makeup artists applied star-shaped tattoos on guests using the Cover Creme Foundation and Loose Setting Powder. The Loose Setting Powder was left to bake on the skin for 2 minutes and then any excess powder was brushed away. The end result? A tattoo that you LITERALLY couldn't rub off, regardless of how hard you tried. I was struck by how seriously long-lasting the tattoo was, and with that, I was hooked on the brand and the powder itself!

My love for the Loose Setting Powder runs strong to this day, but I've always wished there was a pressed version that I could bring with me for touchups throughout the day. Luckily, Dermablend recently made my life complete with the launch of their Compact Setting Powder.

The Compact Setting Powder is now a must-have in my purse due to the fact that it keeps my complexion shine-free at work, events, dinner with friends and more. I absolutely love the fact that I can use it without the worry of fall-out ruining my outfit. Plus, it blends flawlessly with my existing makeup!

I'm currently using the Compact Setting Powder to help touchup my makeup throughout the day (after blotting, of course), as I prefer the Loose Setting Powder when I'm at home. However, I can see the pressed version becoming my go-to in the morning as the season change and my skin grows dry.

If you, like me, are obsessed with the Dermablend Loose Setting Powder, but wish you could bring it with you on-the-go, then you definitely have to try out their new Compact Setting Powder! It's a great option for touchups throughout the day, and offers a lighter options for those who find the loose version too heavy for their skin.
