WHY (Y) WHY
I stand admiring the Princes' Gates from below. Completely entranced by it's architectural elements, I find myself romanticizing the simplistic world that existed at the time of it's erection. I'm nostalgic for those pre-internet years, and more importantly my pre-internet brain. And yet, here I am, playing my role in Generation Y as a blogger – a generation defined by it's lethargic, yet entitled nature, materialistic thoughts, and it's need to glorify undeserving idols.
When I initially closed the door on my previous blog, The Pretty Vain, I had anticipated a smooth and easy transition to Bratty B – was I ever wrong. Almost immediately I was overcome by my own curiosity regarding my motives and objectives to re-starting the process. While I've long known the benefits to blogging, I've also struggled immensely with being the face of the site - notoriety can be great, however the attention it brings will not always be positive in nature. With a heavy head I began questioning whether I continue with this passion, or simply put it to bed. And then I was reminded of this quote:
With that, I welcome you to the Bratty B roadshow.
I hope you'll join me.
